Thanks in part to our investment in top-end facilities, we're one of the few practices in the area to have passed an inspection, earning us RCVS-accredited status.

Our consultation rooms at Jurassic Vets are designed to provide a calm, comfortable, and highly professional environment for both pets and their owners.


Each room is spacious, modern, and thoughtfully laid out to minimise stress and promote a positive experience from the moment you walk in. We’ve carefully selected soft, neutral colours and non-slip flooring to help nervous pets feel secure, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout.


Every consultation room is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, allowing our veterinary surgeons to carry out thorough examinations efficiently and accurately. From high-quality examination lighting to integrated digital record systems, everything is in place to support clinical excellence and clear communication with you about your pet’s health.


We understand that no two patients are the same. That’s why our rooms are designed to be adaptable—whether you’re bringing in a new puppy, a senior cat, or a more anxious pet requiring a gentle, unhurried approach.

Diagnostics & Laboratory 

At Jurassic Vets, our in-house laboratory is designed to deliver rapid, reliable results—supporting timely clinical decisions and the highest standard of patient care.


We have invested in powerful, state-of-the-art biochemistry and haematology analysers, enabling us to assess organ function, detect infection, and monitor ongoing conditions within minutes. This immediate access to diagnostic information allows our veterinary surgeons to act quickly and confidently, particularly in urgent or complex cases.


Our laboratory is further equipped with high-quality microscopy and urine analysis tools, allowing detailed investigations. This capability enhances diagnostic accuracy and supports a more thorough understanding of your pet’s condition during a single visit.


For more advanced or specialised testing, we operate a daily courier service to leading external laboratories. This ensures seamless access to an extended range of diagnostics, combining the speed of in-house testing with the depth and expertise of reference laboratory analysis.

Surgical Theatres

Our surgical facilities at Jurassic Vets are designed to deliver advanced procedures with the highest standards of safety, precision, and care.

Our dedicated operating theatres are purpose-built and used exclusively for surgery, ensuring exceptionally clean, controlled environments that meet rigorous clinical standards. This separation allows us to maintain optimal sterility and focus during every procedure.

We are equipped with modern surgical technology, including laparoscopic (keyhole) equipment for spays. This minimally invasive approach results in smaller incisions, reduced pain, faster recovery times, and fewer complications—providing a clear welfare benefit for our patients.

Our experienced team is able to perform a wide range of advanced soft tissue surgeries in-house, including tumour removals, bladder stone surgery, perineal urethrostomies, diaphragmatic procedures, and emergency surgery for twisted stomachs (GDV).

In addition, we work closely with visiting specialist surgeons, enabling us to offer most orthopaedic procedures on-site—so your pet can receive advanced care in a familiar, trusted environment.

Imaging Suite 

Our imaging suite at Jurassic Vets delivers rapid, high-quality diagnostics to support accurate clinical decisions.


We use advanced digital X-ray technology to produce clear images within seconds while minimising radiation exposure—ideal for assessing injuries and internal conditions during a single visit.


Our dental X-ray system allows detailed evaluation below the gum line, helping detect hidden disease and supporting a higher standard of dental care.


We also operate a powerful Doppler ultrasound unit, providing real-time assessment of internal organs and blood flow—often avoiding the need for more invasive investigations.


Together, these tools enable fast, precise diagnostics, underpinning the high standard of care we provide.

Dental Facilities 

Our dental suite at Jurassic Vets is designed to deliver a high standard of preventative and advanced dental care.

We use modern ultrasonic scaling equipment to thoroughly clean teeth, helping to prevent and manage dental disease effectively. Each procedure is performed with close monitoring and attention to patient comfort throughout.

A key part of our service is our dedicated dental X-ray system, which allows us to assess disease below the gum line—where the majority of dental pathology lies. This ensures more accurate diagnosis and more appropriate treatment, rather than relying on what is visible alone.
