To protect our clients and staff from the risk of COVID-19, we are proud to introduce our new video-consulting service which will allow you to have a consulatation with the vet from your own laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
Video Consulting Service
Our video consulting service allows our vets to discuss your case and view your pet remotely. If the vet is satisfied that it's appropriate, we can then give advice and prescribe treatments for you to give at home. During COVID-19, these can then be collected from the practice during a specific period or delivered to you.
How to Register and Request a Consult
To register, you will need to:
1. Click the link below and register an account
2. Open the link in the confirmation email
3. Enter the verification number from the next email
4. Go to https://vet-video-consultation.vethelpdirect.com and login to finish setting up your account
5. Select Jurassic Vets as your vet, and add at least one pet to complete setup
6. Contact us by phone, email or Facebook to request an appointment
Video Consulting after COVID-19
"Telemedicine" is in its infancy, and the rules that mean we normally have to examine a pet "hands-on" before treating it have been relaxed during COVID-19. Jurassic Vets will continue to provide video consulting services once the lockdown is over -we'll have more information on how it will work for Sidmouth's pets in due course.
