Registered Veterinary Nurse - Full or Part-Time - Sidmouth and/or Colyton

Jurassic Vets is East Devon's leading independent small animal practice, and we're looking for an RVN to replace Harriet, who is off to work at the Donkey Sanctuary!

We're ten years old this year, and have built a reputation for putting our people and our patients first in everything.A truly-independent two-site small animal practice owned by our head vet Peter.

• A growing modern practice with a strong emphasis on the highest possible standards of clinical care - and the equipment and CPD budget to match.
• £1000 CPD allowance for RVNs - which can include your travel and accomodation costs too.
• £13.50/hr - hours and days highly flexible, FT or PT - we build the job around the person we want!
• Part of a busy 24-person practice including 5 vets and 6 RVNs 
• Two fully-equipped practices, both with RCVS SAGP standards scheme awards, each with all the toys including digital X-ray, colour doppler Phillips ultrasound, dedicated operating theatre, digital tonometry, multiparameter monitors with capnography and NIBP - and laparoscopic spays coming in 2024 (want to get involved?).
• Based at either our Sidmouth or Colyton practice, or split between both if you prefer.
• The only OOH we do are weekend daytimes - nurses work just 1.5 / 12 rota. There are no OOH nights, ever. Vets take the phones and nurse call-outs are very rare (less than one per weekend on average).
• Earn a £50 OOH bonus every time you get called out!

Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon - 5-30 hours per week - Sidmouth and/or Colyton

We'd like to hear from vets who would be interested in a part-time role to include Friday each week. You'd be working at either our Sidmouth or Colyton practices (tell us if there's one you'd prefer) alongside our fantastic team of 6 vets and 5 RVNs. We're highly flexible for the right person and could consider anything from 5 - 30 hours per week, which could be a mix of surgery and consultations, or just consultations. You'll need to be an experienced veterinary surgeon with solid references from previous employers, able to carry out small animal veterinary work to the highest of standards. You'll be strongly supported by a caring practice with outstanding facilities and equipment, and a very close-knit and friendly team.
