If you have a genuine emergency with your pet outside of these hours, call the above number to contact a duty vet at either Jurassic Vets or Three Counties Veterinary Emergenices (TCVES). They will answer the phone immediately or ring you back within minutes if they are unable to answer at that moment.

Depending on who is covering that shift, your pet may be offered an appointment at our Sidmouth practice, or at Three Counties Veterinary Emergencies, based at Coombefield Veterinary Hospital in Axminster.

Please use the emergency service for genuine emergencies only.

If you're not sure whether your pet needs seeing or not, please call us during normal hours to discuss the problem rather than waiting for it to become an emergency - it's much better to be safe than sorry.
